Described by the Sunday Times as ‘the best voice in rock this side of the Atlantic’ and “Macfarlane belts out hard, driving sounds with catchy-as-hell lyrics and rhythm” By Rolling Stone. The albums ‘Dove’ and ‘White Feathers’ from the former Apollo440 and Grim Northern Social frontman have both been described as simply outstanding.

Traffic were commissioned by Royale Stag Records to design an overall look, and digital visual campaign, for both albums along side a number of single releases from each.

‘White Feathers’ featured scanned and printed imagery of Macfarlane overlaid with hand cut out and distressed lettering all brought together and re-scanned through an Epsom XL flat bed scanner.

‘Dove’ featured imagery created by Traffic using an iphones camera shot down through the barrel of a toy kaleidoscope over a black and white photographic image of a dove. Campaign included printed CD digipaks, digital singles and social media graphics.
